Introduction:

Pinyl acetate exists naturally in many essential oils, such as cedar oil, pine needle oil, melaleuca oil, cardamom oil, etc. It is a colorless to slightly yellow liquid with lemon and lavender scents.In industry, it is catalyzed by sulfuric acid and acetic anhydride is used to acetylate pinyl alcohol at a temperature slightly above room temperature.

Application:

Pinyl acetate can be used to prepare edible flavors such as peach, plum, apricot, raspberry, cherry, grapefruit, sage, cardamom, spices and citrus (it can also be used as a fragrance for lavender, lemon, forest, fougere, etc.
